We need to teach our students how to think rather than focusing on what to think. An orientation programme for teachers on guidance and counseling was organised at Koraput by IGNOU in collaboration with Unicef . The programme was attended by fourty teachers from SSD & S&ME schools of the district . Among others, Dr. Abhilash Nayak and Hitesh Dasbhaya , Education Consultant from Unicef at Koraput attended the programme . This is supposed to be the first of its kind in the entire state where teachers were given orientation in such a detail on guidance and counseling .
